An envision of the project
Imagine cruising the globe on a floating city with shops, restaurants and any other possible amenity. The idea was coined in the 1990s, envisioning a moving city capable of housing 50,000 to 100,000 passengers.
The project was invented by Florida engineer Norman Nixon and named the Freedom Ship International. The project struggled to attract enterprise investment and was soon abandoned. Nixon also passed a year later.
Recently the Freedom Ship has been seen throughout the media with Roger Gooch, who was part of the original team recently decided to recover the idea. Gooch saw visible change in the global economy and thought it was finally time to bring the Freedom Ship into the spotlight.
The project’s budget is estimated somewhere between $9.93-11.0 billion and according to Gooch would provide a good return on investment. Recent exposure has lead to Gooch being contacted by a handful of private investors, however no venture capital as of yet.
The 25 storey high ship would travel across the globe spending about 70 per cent of its timed tied outside favourable cities and ports.
With the Freedom Ship new found media exposure much criticism has followed. However Gooch is still hopeful that the project will commence in his lifetime.

Australia may be a rugged and untamed land but there is nothing rugged about Sydney. The very modern and bustling city is very much alive. This city is located in the south west corner of Australia right near the coast. It is the largest and oldest city in Australia and that attracts more tourists than any other city in the country.
Sydney’s Harbour is by the far one of the most beautiful harbours in the world. Millions of tourists a year flock to Sydney to enjoy the magnificent views from the bay. You can enjoy ferries, dinner cruises, and speedboats or even take a hands-on sailboat adventure around the bay. There are many ways to enjoy the harbour, even from above at the AMP Tower. Here you can see the entire city while eating dinner. The restaurant slowly rotates giving you a panoramic view of the city without ever moving.
Sydney Harbour Bridge & Opera House
The Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House are globally recognised and the top tourist attractions that Sydney has to offer. The bridge is not only one of the most distinguished bridges in the world but also offers you the chance to climb it. Groups leave every day to climb the unique arches and enjoy Sydney from an entirely new perspective. These tours are very safe and have been running for years. Tours are also available through the Opera House that gives you a backstage look of this amazing international symbol. The Opera House is not big enough to have a grand opera perform there unfortunately, however there are still many things to enjoy including the concert hall, opera and drama theatre and a recital hall. A fifth theatre was also built in 1998. The Opera House also has many restaurants, bars and even can host a special reunion or party. This truly is a special place to visit and perhaps you will have time to enjoy a performance.
Sydney offers many unique experiences including visiting Observatory Hill. This small hill is the home to one of the oldest telescopes in the world built back in 1858. Here you can see a completely different sky if you live north of the Equator. The Big Dipper constellation cannot be seen from Australia, however they have just as popular constellations. The Southern Cross is easy to recognize and only can be seen “down-under.” The observatory has added some modern features including a computer system that will point the age-old telescope to any star. Reservations are essential, as the observatory cannot handle hundreds of people at a time. They will take you on a tour of their facility as well as give you a chance to look through the telescope at different celestial objects.
Sydney also has some of the best beaches you can find. If you plan to soak in some rays at the famous Bondi Beach, make sure you know that the climate in the southern hemisphere is the opposite of the northern hemisphere. Australia’s summer is in January and July and August is the coldest time of the year. Of course, their summers are much longer; you should expect about 8 months of sunshine.
What makes Sydney great along with its unique attractions is that everyone speaks English. This may sound obvious but travelling to a strange country where everything is new takes some getting use to. If you cannot understand anyone, it makes it even harder. Their version of English is different from Americans and different from those in England. It may take some getting use to but Australians may use the same words but they have different meanings than we are use to in the States.
If you need help or have a question, you will find that Australians are quite warm and more than happy to help. I found that asking for help resulted in hours of conversations as we shared cultural differences and similarities. This is great vacation family destination where the sun always shines and the hospitality never ends.

Australia’s Best on-time Transfers!
Everyone’s worst nightmare is being late or even worse missing your flight! This comes into play usually when you spend precious time looking for a park and then have to race to the terminal before you get locked from boarding the plane.
When you invest in a BCT Transfer service to take you to the airport, you are investing in the reliability and the promise that they will get you to the airport on time, if not early so you can relax before you board.
When you factor in petrol, airport parking fees, car rentals and getting lost, causing you to waste more time and fuel, the price of not renting a BCT transfer becomes much higher. We work to drop you to the terminal door, and even pick you up when you land. We will know exactly how to get to your location in the most efficient manner and when you factor in these details, you will realise just how smart hiring BCT Transfers for your travel really is!
If saving on expenses isn’t enough, you will also save time when you book a BCT Transfers service to take you to and from the airport. If you’re heading to the airport, your professional driver will drop you off right where you need to go, and if you’re being picked up from the airport, the driver will be waiting for you before you even step outside of the baggage claim area. The time-saving benefit of renting a BCT Transfer for airport pickup and drop off, it may just be the difference between making an important flight and being on time for your meeting/event!
So, you can clearly see how renting a transfer can help you in your professional life. When it comes to your career, you decide what is most worth your time!

The city of Ipswich located just East of Brisbane, has experienced a recent population boom over the past few years. The attraction of Ipswich is largely due to the central location and the ease of access and travel to both Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Ipswich also plays host to two major Universities and a number of heritage listed and tourist attractions. Due to this large range of international residents, Ipswich is also a prime location in respect to travelling to and from Brisbane Airport.
On estimate, the drive from Ipswich to Brisbane Airport takes approximately 50 minutes depending on traffic. Business Class Transfers offers the ultimate in Airport Transport Solutions with professional drivers, high quality vehicles and a guarantee of first class standards whilst you’re travelling. Use that extra 50 minutes from Ipswich to the airport to catch up on your work emails or just spend time relaxing before your journey.

The Federal Government has indicated that the scheduled second airport for Sydney would function 24 hours a day. Talking on ABC , Deputy Prime Minister Warren Truss said that the current 11pm to 6am restriction at present imposed by Sydney Airport on international flights “is an issue that clearly has to addressed.”
According to Warren Truss, “If Sydney is to be a world-class city … a city that is going to be able to compete internationally, then it will have to have airport services that are available 24 hours.”
”There’s no doubt that Sydney loses a lot of the economic benefit of its airport because it is only operating limited hours. There are a number of movements out of Melbourne and Brisbane that happen in hours when there is no airport open in Sydney.”
Truss also added a sense of urgency to the project stating that the second Sydney airport should be running ahead of the 2027 proposed date by the Western Sydney Alliance. “I am confident that an airport could be built and operating well and truly before the target date set by the alliance.”
The speculated location of the second airport is at Badgery’s Creek which already has a mark on Google Maps as ‘Sydney West Airport’.
